At the beginning of this year, with the support of the Medellin Mayor Office Participative Budget, the Fundación Tiempo de Paz delivered a workshop focused on prevention of children sexual abuse to the community in Boston neighborhood.
In our Boston Children Center at about 30 people could receive valuable tools for orientating their children on how to face risk of abuse situations.
Also, we shared such workshops with about 350 children from the 13, 8 and 15 communes in Medellin, in turn in the 8 and 9 commune we worked with 50 parents who got involved in learning those important tools to fight abuse.
Those experiences have allowed us to become more and more visible to the city when talking about children sexual abuse prevention, this is why we keep on dreaming in finding and taking part in new scenarios where protective environments for our children need to be created.
