My name is Juan
I'm 7 years old and in 7th grade.
I want to become a pilot,
that's why I put all my effort to learn in school.
Although I do well in school I didn't have many friends, I was always alone.
I live with my dad, John and my mom, Sol, in the Boston neighborhood. We're a united family and I enjoy being with them.
We heard of the Foundation by a classmate. Her mom talked to my mom, and that's how we went there and met the person in charge.
My mom loved it and we began assisting, a process that was a blessing for me and my family.
I began assisting in May this year, since my mom began working. I was very scared at first, since it was an unknown place for me and I had never been apart from my parents in a place that's not our own.
Today I can say that although it has not been easy to be under the care of Liliana, my loving teacher, and in the company of my friends, it has been of great benefit, now I'm much more sociable and sure of myself, I´m quieter, and enjoy Rosita's meals at the dinner. I also enjoy the music lessons which I love.
My family and I wholeheartedly thank the existence of a Foundation like ours, since many parents have to leave their children at home alone or under the care of neighbors, while at the Foundation we are taken care of with love and care.
