Introduction
There is currently a huge problem in urban planning in urban areas in Cambodia for impoverished communities. This project aims to address SDG 11, which addresses urban development. The goal says cities should ensure access to safe and affordable housing, public transportation, and public green spaces.
Report
We will be focussing on building resilience in urban cities in Cambodia for this project for this year. Our community partner researched Nom Pheng bottom up resilience focussing on infrastructure, urban planning, for people living in informal settlements. We require $15K AUS for 5 years of research paying a cambodian research assistant, to pay for workshops and Architect and mapping of informal settlements.
