Ghazal Asleem, an 8-year-old girl, was brought to one of SEMA’s hospitals in north of Syria as she complained from recurring pains in the left side of her waist.
After conducting examinations and radiographs, a congenital narrowing in her left ureter was detected, which led to an expansion in the kidney. This in turn would cause a blockage of urine in the ureter and the complete loss of the kidney if not treated.
The girl underwent the needed surgery, and the ureter was successfully reformed. After the surgery, the girl’s health improved, and she was referred to the recovery section before discharge.
While surgery saves the lives of the elderly, but, for children, it forms theirs.
Your continued support is the basis for a healthy life for thousands of children every year.
