Elaf, a young girl from the displaced camps in northern Syria, arrived at one of our hospitals suffering from second-degree burns after a tragic accident. Hot water had spilled over her stomach and arms, causing severe pain and damage. Without the immediate care from our dedicated doctors, her condition could have worsened.
Today, Elaf is under close observation, and soon, she will undergo reconstructive surgery. Her story is just one of many, but her survival is a direct result of your compassion. Your previous donations saved her life, and now she is stable and ready for the next step in her recovery.
