Dear Supporter,
Aya’s cries filled the room as she arrived at one of SEMA's hospitals in northern Syria, her small body weighed down by the pain of burns after boiling water was accidentally spilled on her delicate skin at home. Her mother, with all her strength, tried to soothe her, but the pain was too overwhelming. Thanks to your donations, our doctors were able to immediately relieve Aya’s pain and bandage her burns, and she is now gradually recovering.
We are anxiously waiting for her to recover further, so she can smile and play once again. These painful moments would not have been possible to overcome without your generosity, which was a balm to her wounds.
But Aya is not the only one. In northern Syria, these tragedies happen daily; families struggle to access scarce medical services, and parents stand helpless at the doors of hospitals. The suffering there never ends.
We need your continued support. Your donations are the only hope for other children like Aya, who are eagerly waiting for the same care and compassion.
With heartfelt thanks,
