Dear Valued Supporters,
Because of your generosity, a life was saved.
A man in his fifties arrived at Al-Rahma Hospital in Darkoush in extreme distress — overwhelmed by pain, fear, and uncertainty. He was suffering from severe chest pressure, intense abdominal pain accompanied by debilitating constipation, and a frightening sensation of cold on the left side of his chest near the heart.
In those critical moments, his only plea to the medical team was simple and urgent:
“Do anything… I just want this pain to stop.”
Emergency imaging was conducted without delay, including advanced CT scans of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis. The results revealed a large left diaphragmatic hernia — a dangerous condition that posed an immediate, life-threatening risk.
During surgery, the team discovered a serious complication placing extreme pressure on his internal organs. Thanks to the skill, speed, and professionalism of the surgical staff, the condition was corrected successfully, and all necessary measures were taken to ensure a safe recovery.
Slowly, the pain began to fade.
Fear gave way to relief.
Stability replaced danger.
He was discharged in good general condition, beginning a new chapter of recovery and safety.
After regaining his health, the patient shared these words:
“Praise be to God. I feel very well now and deeply relieved. My message to everyone is: do not neglect your health.”
This story reflects the daily humanitarian work made possible by your support — where medical dedication meets compassion, and where timely care does more than treat illness: it saves lives.
Your donations ensure that Al-Rahma Hospital continues to provide free, advanced, and lifesaving medical services to people in need, without discrimination — offering not only treatment, but hope and a second chance at life.
Thank you for standing with patients in their most critical moments.
Thank you for turning fear into relief, pain into healing, and danger into new beginnings.
With deep gratitude,
Your support is saving lives — every single day.
