Advanced Medical Technology Restores Health to a Five-Year-Old Child!

By Baraa Ali | Fundraising Officer

Dear Supporter,

Because of your continued support, children with complex and painful medical conditions are receiving advanced care that restores their health and protects their childhood.

At just five years old, a young girl was admitted to Al-Rahma Hospital in Darkoush after suffering from recurrent urinary tract infections that significantly affected her well-being. Following thorough medical examinations and diagnostic tests, doctors discovered a large infected kidney stone filling the renal calyces—a delicate condition that required highly specialized intervention.

The medical team carefully prepared the child by conducting urine cultures, sediment analysis, and fully treating the infection to ensure the highest level of safety before surgery. The procedure was then successfully performed using Mini PCNL with laser stone fragmentation, one of the most advanced and effective techniques for treating kidney stones in children. This approach allows for high precision, reduces complications, and accelerates recovery.

Thanks to the hospital’s advanced medical readiness and the expertise of the specialized team, the operation was completed successfully. The child recovered well and was able to return to her normal life—free from pain and recurring infections.

In the video, Dr. Mustafa Deeb explains the stone removal process and highlights how Mini PCNL provides a safe and modern solution for treating complex kidney stone cases in children.

Your generosity makes it possible to deliver specialized, safe, and compassionate healthcare to children who need it most. Thank you for standing with these young patients and for helping us give them not only treatment, but a healthier and brighter future.

With sincere gratitude,
