Families in the Gaza Strip are living under extremely difficult humanitarian conditions due to a severe shortage of food supplies and rising prices, making it increasingly difficult for many households—especially displaced families—to secure even one adequate daily meal.
Thousands of children and women rely on food assistance as their primary source of nutrition, while markets continue to suffer from a noticeable lack of essential goods, compounded by the population’s declining purchasing power due to loss of income.
Through our field observations, it has become clear that many families are now surviving on minimal and nutritionally inadequate meals, lacking essential nutrients, which negatively affects children’s health and increases cases of malnutrition.
Providing food assistance—whether through food baskets or hot meals—remains one of the most critical forms of emergency humanitarian intervention. It helps meet basic needs and preserves the dignity of affected families.
We emphasize that the continuation of this support is a true lifeline for many households. We extend our deep gratitude to everyone contributing to these humanitarian efforts. With your generosity, lives are sustained and hope remains.
