Amid the harsh living conditions faced by many families in Aleppo, northern Syria, the suffering of orphans continues to grow as they struggle without a provider and with extremely limited resources.
As part of our ongoing efforts to support the most vulnerable, we provided a financial sponsorship to a family in need. Umm Anas received this support to help meet her children’s basic needs.
Umm Anas lives with her children without any breadwinner. She shared with us that their living conditions are extremely difficult—to the point that they are sometimes unable to afford even bread. She confirmed that this financial support will directly help her provide food and drink for her family and ease part of their daily suffering.
This simple assistance has become a lifeline for the family, restoring a sense of hope and stability despite the difficult circumstances.
Sustaining such sponsorships plays a vital role in protecting orphaned children from hunger and deprivation, and in giving them a chance to live with dignity.
