Save Lives: Food & Water for Gaza, Sudan & Syria

Amid the worsening water crisis in northern Gaza, and the harsh conditions faced by displaced families in the camps, our teams at Amal Al-Umma Organization continued implementing a clean drinking water distribution project to ease part of this daily suffering.

During the distribution, we met the young girl Reham, an orphan living in one of the camps under extremely difficult humanitarian conditions. Reham was among the beneficiaries of this project, and she expressed—in her simple, innocent way—her happiness at receiving clean water, which has become a scarce necessity in these circumstances.

Providing safe drinking water to Reham and other children is not only about meeting a daily need; it is also about protecting their health and giving them a sense of safety in a reality lacking even the most basic necessities of life.

We distributed quantities of clean water to displaced families, helping meet their essential needs and reducing health risks caused by unsafe water, especially among children who are the most vulnerable.

Such initiatives remain an urgent necessity as the crisis continues and the need for safe and sustainable water sources in the camps grows.
