Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, like every year, has celebrated its Foundation Day on 2nd December 2022 this year. On this occasion, the activists of the RSKS organization celebrated this big bash with Helpless street and slum children. They cut cake, danced and enjoyed a lot in the celebration. Besides, Foundation Day celebration was organized in “Pathshala - school” & “vocational education - school”, a school for drop-out young women & girls” managed by RSKS India.

On the occasion of the Foundation Day, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sasnthan distributed woollen blankets to 100 poor families residing roadside so that they can protect themselves from the shivering cold. Similarly, a workshop was organized concerning legal rights of women. After the completion of the workshop, a rally was held in which women delivered awareness message for the prevention of violence against women to the society. In this series, 50 shaddy and fruitful trees were planted in a distant village in Ajmer where the participants took oath to keep trees conserved. In addition to this, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sasnthan installed 20 eco-friendly nests at homes in the foothills of Aravali ranges for the conservation of sparrow.

The Foundation Day was celebrated 13 places where almost 600 beneficiaries including women, girls, men and children enjoyed in the celebrations. The celebration also had importance as it was the Successful 30 years of RSKS India.

Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, in these 30 years, has worked for more than one lakh marginalized and deprived people of 700 villages. In order to make them self-reliant and empowered, the organization has put its significant efforts through several programs as vocational education, women empowerment, agricultural development, conservation of environment, educational development and sustainable livelihood and the organization still keeps putting its efforts for the same.

It is the guidance of partners and the generous donations of all respectable donors that brings positive energy to us due to which our activists are always ready to put themselves into action with dedication and devotion for the development and empowerment of the deprived community. We hope that we will be getting your valuable support and guidance in the future.

Today, whenever Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan faces any problem whether it is an earthquake or flood, COVID-19, uneducation, poverty, unemployment or violence against women, then the organization immediately attempts to resolve the problem and tries hard to make its attempts successful. Deforestation and growing of concrete walls in all the areas have led to the decrease in the population of the innocent sparrow birds. Still there are so less people who could understand this important issue and work towards the protection of these innocent birds. The growing world is not thinking about its after effects at the other organisms in the ecosystem. Sparrow birds are very much important for the ecosystem as they do not let the population of the insects increase. Also their sweet chirruping could make anyone’s day. This is the reason why RSKS India supports the bird lovers by providing them sparrow bird houses and feeders and also by installing these bird houses and bird feeders at the public places so that many people could understand about the importance of the conservation of these innocent birds.

In this context, RSKS India team went to all these public places where these sparrow bird houses and feeders were placed so that the team could check the condition of the sparrow bird houses as well as the feeders. The team also filled the fillings in the feeders so that sparrow bird could come and eat from it easily and also did repairing work in some of the bird houses. These bird houses are eco friendly and are perfect home for the sparrow birds and this is the reason why they are regularly checked so that awareness about these could be spread to more and more people. As it contains the stickers which contains messages of sparrow bird conservation which is very important to take care of along with the feeders and bird houses. Through this follow up the team was able to gain insights about the bird houses and bird feeders at all the public places.

Through this follow up of RSKS India team, the team was able to fulfill the bird feeders at the public places. It was very happy to see that some of the bird feeders were having grains inside which meant that someone else has adopted or taken an initiative of fulfilling the bird feeders which is very good thing. Even the bird houses were full of sparrow birds and were home to many new born sparrow birds. The sparrow bird houses are surely protecting the sparrow birds from their predators and are surely helpful in increasing the population of the sparrow birds. The follow up also led to know about the thoughts  of the people as during the follow up there were many people who came to the RSKS team and asked about the bird houses and feeders as they also wanted to install these at their courtyard. It makes this program- Save Innocent Sparrow Birds a successful program in increasing the population of the sweet chirruping bird- Sparrow.
