Keep CALM & Save the Sparrow...

By Team | RSKS India

Dear Patron !

The sparrow bird population in India has been decreasing rapidly over the years, and it has become a matter of concern for environmentalists and bird lovers. The main reasons for this decline are the loss of natural habitats and the use of pesticides. The lack of nesting places has also contributed to this problem. the sparrow population has seen a significant decrease due to the rapid urbanization of the city. This has resulted in a decrease in the number of sparrows in the area. The sweet chirruping of the innocent sparrow birds could not be heard nowadays.

To address this problem, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan's team members initiated the Save Innocent Sparrow Bird Project. As part of this project, the team members installed eco-friendly sparrow bird houses and feeders at a college. The sparrow bird houses were made using eco-friendly materials, and the feeders were filled with organic grains. The team members also educated the students and staff at the college about the importance of sparrows in the ecosystem and how they can help in their conservation efforts. Also taught them about how they could also refill the feeder once it is finished.

The installation of eco-friendly sparrow bird houses and feeders at the college has had a positive impact on the sparrow population. The birds have found a safe and secure place to nest and have access to organic grains for their nourishment. The students and staff at the college have also become more aware of the importance of sparrows in the ecosystem and have started taking steps to conserve them. Along with this, the college staff as well as the children of the college are very happy as they have got the chance to hear the sweet chirruping of the sparrow bird. This project has also served as a model for other institutions and individuals in the area who want to take part in sparrow conservation efforts. The Save Innocent Sparrow Bird Project has shown that small initiatives like this can have a significant impact on the environment and contribute to the conservation of endangered species
