We have been getting your valuable generous support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.
It happened very often some years ago that hundreds of sparrows were gathered from somewhere in seconds when we throw grains on terrace. They kept chirping the whole day in the courtyard and public places, temples etc. The melodious chirping of sparrow got everyone fascinated and the atmosphere became gladsome, but now sparrow has become extinct from many places or got less in number. Sparrow doesn't live in forest. The places where it is found today getting less in number. It is a friend of human, it likes to live between human beings. But today, due to rapid industrialisation and construction of multi storey buildings have lessened its habitats.
Considering the reduction of population and habitat of sparrow, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the support of Global Giving Foundation, has installed some eco-friendly nest in public places near Prithviraj Chouhan Memorial. Thriteen eco-friendly nests have been installed at temples, road side, etc. The activists of the organisation inspect these nests timely and also make necessary arrangements for food and water for sparrows. The primary objective of "Save Sparrow" is to increase the population of sparrow and to make nature clean.
The efforts of GlobalGiving Foundation and Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan have their positive effects in localites. Some localites told that earlier sparrow was found in a large number but its population got reduced all of sudden. Now its population is getting increased after the eco-friendly nests have been installed and the surroundings has become gladsome for which the localites thank Global Giving Foundation and Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan.
