By Ayala Alimova | Project Leader
Dear friends and partners,
Thank you for supporting our project to train physicians across Kazakhstan. As of today, $20 has been disbursed to our account. Thanks to your generosity, an additional $500 has been raised on the platform - bringing the total to $520 for our training program. The $500 has not yet been disbursed to our account; we’re awaiting the next transfer and will proceed immediately once funds arrive.
Our next step is to organize an on-site master class in the Semey regional hospitals led by our neonatologist lecturer on the use of non-pneumatic anti-shock garments (NASG). Donations will cover three key cost items: lecturer honorarium, transportation, and accommodation.
Why this matters: The NASG is a simple, effective device used in cases of severe postpartum hemorrhage and shock. By gently compressing the lower body, it helps redistribute blood to vital organs and stabilize the patient until definitive care is provided, reducing the risk of maternal mortality - especially in remote settings.
We are deeply grateful for your support and confident that, together, we will reach our goal: to ensure more regional physicians in Kazakhstan are well trained and confident to provide the best possible care to mothers and newborns.
With appreciation,
The AYALA Private Charity Foundation Team
