Dear All,
Well, unfortunately haven’t really progressed since the last report. This is entirely to do with simply being too busy to concentrate on fundraising. We received 68 new birds since the last project report, 37 of which are confiscated or surrendered parrots now in long-term rehab care (approx. 2 years) which is a huge commitment on food, care and enclosure upkeep, not to mention medical care and the costs of the release process when the time comes.
We are not complaining! The majority of these birds are already 100% better off than they were in the pet trade, and in time will be released back into their natural habitat to boost the wild populations, as they should.
But, we still need help. A lot of help. So if you could share our fundraiser here on Global Giving, maybe consider us for you annual tax-deductible donation, we would be so very grateful.
Thank you for your continuing support, look out for our new fundraising drive, and we hope to hear from you soon!
