As a mother, I deeply understand the fear and anxiety we feel when a child’s health is at risk.
When a baby is born with a heart defect, one of the first questions parents ask is: Where can my baby receive the best possible care?
At Kardias, our goal is for every family to find not only hope, but real outcomes.
Today, thanks to the work of highly specialized medical teams, over the past five years the Kardias program at the ABC–Kardias Pediatric Heart Center has maintained a 97% survival rate, offering each patient the best possible chance to live and grow.
Kardias strengthens a high-specialty pediatric cardiac surgery program through five fundamental pillars, with the patient at the center of care.
Last year, we were able to help a record number of children receive the procedures they urgently needed. This year, we are incredibly grateful for the support of donors like you, who make these moments of hope and life possible.
