At the start of 2024, only two countries in Africa had access to WMDA’s expert knowledge, tools, and education. Though thanks to the generous support from GlobalGivers during Giving Tuesday 2024, this is changing.
Your donations made it possible for three more African countries, Algeria, Côte d'Ivoire, and Botswana to receive six-month WMDA memberships. This means their representatives can now:
Use the WMDA Handbook to help build donor registries and recruit donors,
Watch all WMDA webinars, and
Receive a monthly newsletter full of the latest advice, guidelines, and updates.
This support is helping to break down barriers and increasing access to life-saving knowledge.
Though we have much more to do and your help is needed!
