We want to share a heartfelt update about Nora, a young Syrian refugee child in Turkey who has been bravely battling leukemia for the past year. Her family—already facing immense hardship—turned to our organization in desperation, hoping to save their daughter’s life.
Thanks to your compassion and generosity, we were able to begin Nora’s long and difficult treatment journey.
And every step she takes today is because someone like you chose to stand with her.
Nora is a quiet, gentle child who fights her illness with remarkable courage.
She has lost her hair, but she has never lost her smile.
Between exhausting treatment sessions and long, painful days, she still believes that healing is near and that tomorrow can be brighter.
But Nora cannot walk this path alone.
She needs continued care, medical support, and the warmth of people who believe in her.
Every act of kindness fuels her strength and gives her the hope she needs to keep going.
