Scaling Up For Impact

Dear Friend,

We can’t believe it’s already been four months since our last update where we chatted about how we were so excited that Footprints 4 Sam had a new team member. Time truly flies!

Since joining us in March, our remarkable intern Nara Nkuna, has fully immersed herself in the Trust’s work, embracing our values and make a difference.

A heartfelt thank you to one of our amazing donors, Efficient Group, for generously offering Nara a desk at their Pretoria office, close to Nara’s home. Their warm welcome and the supportive space has made her feel right at home.

During her time with us, Nara has played an integral role in maintaining and updating our databases, conducting essential research and drafting letters and other important documents. Her reliability, warmth and attention to detail has already made Nara a cherished member of the team.

We recently asked Nara to reflect on her first four months, and this is what she shared with us:

     “This internship has been a deeply meaningful experience, giving me the opportunity to contribute to work that truly matters and to learn from an organisation built on compassion and purpose. I feel incredibly grateful to be part of something so heartfelt and inspiring.”

 We are grateful and proud to have Nara as part of the Footprints 4 Sam family. We look forward to seeing her continue to grow and the special footprints she will continue to leave behind.
