The new school year starts in April and the girls who have received scholarships are looking forward to the start of school. These girls would not be able to attend a prestigious private school and receive a quality education without the scholarship support. The girls are getting ready buying uniforms and stationary and other supplies ready for the year.
A number of the girls are part of the 30 strong Leadership Class and will be entering the second year of this comprehensive 2 year leadership training experience. Other female students are continuing to work on the Technovation Challenge computer programming contest. Students design apps that address social issues. The private school provides variety and depth in study including music, choral and instrumental, art, citizenship and school politics, art and language learning.
This project has been selected to compete for the 6 places in the Global Giving Girl Fund. This special fund will accrue donations all year and then be split between only 6 projects! Its a great opportunity!
Your donation of any amount will help us gain a place! Please be a donor we need ust another 8 donors to become eligible to compete for a place.
Thank you!
