The girls who receive scholarships have the opportunity to not only change their future but also aid in the reconstruction of Afghan society. Following is what one university scholarship student dreams of doing:
My name is Farzana and I am studying Nursing in Herat University. I want to be an authentic and kind nurse because it is a holy job and I must be honest and caring with sick people--the same that AIL has done with me. With the scholarship I get, I can change my life and the lives of others. I want to be responsible and also a good citizen.
There are many like Farzana who want to give back and play an active role in the rebuilding of Afghanistan. Please help us by donating March 1 thru March 15, so that this project has the opportunity to be showcased in the Global Giving Girl Fund for 2017. Donate now, tell your friends and family!
