Scholarships For The brilliant and deserving

AWARD aims to support young girls with disadvantaged backgrounds in three districts of Punjab in completing their higher education through the provision of scholarships. Recently , AWARD gave scholarships to 10 deserving girls who wished to complete their high school education but couldn't afford it. The girls were extremely happy after receiving the scholarships. One of the girls, Sana, expressed, " I cannot thank God enough for providing me with this opportunity. My parents were finding it really hard to afford my education . But this help is something I cannot forget. I would like to thank AWARD and Corteva for their support.

Thank you for the kind donations of USD 19,649 and all your support throughout. Our women's vegetable club is successfully growing and helping to change the socio-economic condition of rural women in Punjab Province. During the last quarter, six women groups have farmed corriander, potatoes, cucumber, peas, and turnips, which have provided them with good profit as they are good-selling vegetables during the winter season. AWARD is paying regular monitoring visits to the women and encouraging them to keep their spirits high. One of the women beneficiaries has also placed her own shop in the village and has been selling directly to the customers. She is happy with the increase in profit.
