Story of Joy,
"My name is Joy, and I come from a humble background from Toba Tek Singh. Growing up, my family struggled to make ends meet, and the thought of pursuing higher education seemed like a distant dream. But then, something incredible happened. An organization like SHD that believed in the power of education offered me a scholarship to continue my studies. I couldn’t believe it at first. Me? A scholarship? It felt like a miracle. With the support of the Society for Human Development, I was able to enroll in college and pursue a degree in basic finance, something I had always been passionate about. The scholarship covered my tuition fees, textbooks, and travelling.As I delved deeper into my studies, I discovered a newfound sense of purpose and drive. The support I received from the SHD not only lifted the financial burden off my shoulders but also gave me the confidence to believe in myself and my abilities. I know that this scholarship is not just an opportunity for me but a responsibility to give back to my community and inspire others who, like me, dream of a better life through education.I want to enter the banking field and want to become a banker one day, I will carry the lessons I’ve learned and the support I’ve received with me, forever grateful for the chance to rewrite my story. Thank you SHD for supporting me and making me dream big. "
