From everyone here at PeaceTrees Vietnam, thank you for supporting our work in Quang Tri Province! Your generous donations are providing scholarships to children who live and play in areas contaminated with the explosive remnants of war and who live with the possibility of falling victim to an unexploded ordnance accident.
The communities that these scholarships benefit are made up largely of Van Kieu and Pa Ko ethnic minorities whose primary language is not Vietnamese. The children who attend PeaceTrees Vietnam’s kindergartens are able to learn Vietnamese, which improves their chances of continued academic success when they enter schools taught in the national language. With your help we can provide these kids with the tools that they need in order to learn and grow.
We have a long way to go to reach our goal of $5,000 but we know we will get there with your help! We hope that you will continue to stand in partnership with us and with the people of Quang Tri Province.
Warm Regards,
All of us at PeaceTrees Vietnam
