School & Wellness Supplies for 2,000 Omaha Kids

Habitat & Education Promotion is pleased to share an update on our program supporting students in Omaha through the provision of essential school and health-related supplies.

As part of our commitment to student well-being and academic success, we distributed school supplies, winter gear, and nurse office supplies to 4 schools in Omaha. This effort benefited more than 2,000 students, helping them come to school better prepared, better protected from winter weather, and better supported in meeting their basic health needs during the school day.

The school supplies helped students access important learning tools needed for classroom participation and academic progress. The winter gear provided added protection during the cold season, helping children attend school more comfortably and consistently. In addition, nurse office supplies strengthened the capacity of school health offices to respond to students’ everyday health needs and provide a safer, more supportive school environment.

This initiative reflects Habitat & Education Promotion’s belief that children learn best when they have both the educational materials and the basic care they need to thrive. By supporting schools in these practical ways, we are helping create a stronger foundation for learning, health, and student success.
