Every child deserves to sit in a classroom with enough food in their stomach to concentrate, participate, and learn. Unfortunately, this is not the reality for every child in rural Uganda.
For children from economically vulnerable households, breakfast may not always be available before leaving home. Some children may also go through the school day without lunch. Imagine trying to concentrate on mathematics, reading, science, or other lessons while feeling hungry and exhausted.
This is why school feeding is an important part of our efforts to support education. Good Cause Foundation Uganda is seeking resources to help provide breakfast and lunch to vulnerable children in rural schools.
We want every child to have the opportunity to learn with energy and dignity. School meals can help children remain focused during lessons, participate in school activities, and feel cared for within their learning environment.
Your donation can help us provide food to children who need it most. It can help cover the cost of staple foods, nutritious ingredients, preparation, and serving meals at school.
No child should have to choose between hunger and education. Please join us in putting nutritious meals on children's plates and helping them remain focused on their education.
