School Feeding Joy for Ugandan Kids

Imagine sitting in a classroom trying to learn while feeling hungry throughout the morning. For many vulnerable school children in Uganda, this is a daily reality. Hunger can affect their energy, concentration, participation, and ability to remain engaged in school.

Good Cause Foundation Uganda is committed to helping change this reality by establishing and strengthening sustainable school feeding programs in vulnerable schools across Uganda.

The project will provide nutritious breakfasts and lunches to children who need them most. By making food available at school, we aim to help children remain in class, participate more actively in learning, and have the energy needed to complete the school day.

The initiative will also contribute to increased school enrollment, attendance, and retention. When children and families know that nutritious meals are available at school, feeding support can become an important part of creating an environment where children can attend and remain in school.

We will also prioritize locally sourced food. This creates a connection between schools and local farmers, helping support community agriculture while providing children with nutritious meals.

Our long-term vision is to establish feeding programs that communities and schools can strengthen and sustain over time. Donations will help us purchase food, support meal preparation, and reach more vulnerable children.
