Meet Eric and Max, two very hard-working boys. They are being raised by their mother, a single parent. They all live together in a single room, in addition to their younger sister. Mom has no stable job and depends on casual jobs that crop up every now and then.
Both boys have active willingness to study, but it's difficult at times when they have not eaten. They both admit that they go to school at times very hungry, making it hard to concentrate. Yet they remain ambitious and hopeful for a better tomorrow. Eric has dreams to become a doctor, making him worker harder so he can one day support his mother. Max sees acting in his future, something I could see since he was enthusiastic during his interaction with me at home. I encouraged both boys to continue working towards their dreams.
Mom sends her sincere gratitude to our donors helping with Eric and Max's school fees, reducing her burden. Everyone here at the American Foundation for Children with AIDS, and our partners in Africa, thank you for your continued support of this important project.
