Sammy studies in class 3 at the academy. She lives in a single room with her parents and two other siblings, an older brother and younger sister. Sammy is a polite young girl and is always smiling. Her father does casual jobs to meet the family needs, and her mother is a housewife who used to work at a small company until it was closed down a year ago.
Sammy’s mother came to us requesting help for her children because they can not afford to pay for their education. She is so grateful for this assistance from the American Foundation for Children with AIDS. Sammy has not missed school and therefore much improvement has been noted. It has been a great blessing for the whole family!
