Have you enjoyed all the back to school photos from friends and family over the past two weeks? I love to see the bright smiles and a bit of adventure in their eyes. Everyone is proudly wearing their new outfits and sporting new backpacks.
Let's remember that not everyone headed to school with a new backpack and a smile on their face. Let me introduce you to Katana. He is an orphan and lives with his grandmother.
Katana struggles to attend school. He has been hospitalized three times in the past 3 months. He is weak and can only walk when supported. How many of us would fight that hard to get to school?
School is that important to Katana. He feels blessed by your generosity to pay his school fees. He finds his way to school and he knows he will get stronger. Katana is given food and supplements. He is closely monitored by continuous home visits. Your support has made this all possible!
