Project Report | Sep 10, 2018
School Construction (15)

By Mabwe Lucien | Project Leader

The summer holidays have just ended at Glenn Paige Nonkilling School. The start of the 2018-2019 school year took place this past Monday (September 3, 2018).

We continue to register new students in the kindergarten classes. For the upper classes, the size of our students seems to fall slightly. If this trend is confirmed for the next weeks, we will readjust with the number of classes.

The regional security situation remains calm. The so-called "Yakutumba" rebels brutally beaten by the government army at the beginning of the year are not a threat and are currently out of the region.

However, we are entering an election period; candidates for the presidency and the various parliaments (provincial parliament and national parliament) are known and agitate the region through their election campaigns.

We are waiting for people's contributions to complete the tap on the site of the school.

The two masons recruited for further construction are at work thanks to the availability of stored construction equipment. The next report will note a significant advance.

"Marafiki wa masomo yetu msitusahau! (Dear School Friends do not forget us!). This appeal from the Director of the School remains valid.

Dear friend, we are proud of your actions. Your generous donations are preparing a new world, a nonkilling society. Dream together of this world and act for it!

Your suggestions and advice are welcome.

No more killing!
