Our School is called Glenn Paige Nonkilling School. The school is renamed on June 28, 2009. Established in September 2006, with the primary objective of teaching nonviolence and peace, it was originally called the Martin Luther King School.
On the 80th anniversary of Glenn Paige, it took his name. Indeed, he is the founder of the Center for Global Nonkilling and his Chair .He has funded more than 53 nonkilling and peace seminars in Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda (Great Lakes Africa). The flagship course of our School is 'Nonkilling Course' which we teach in all classes. It is based on Glenn Paige 's main book,' Nonkilling Global Political Science ', 2002 (available at www.nonkilling.org), translated into Kiswahili (a language spoken in East and Central Africa and one of the official languages of' African Union)by us under the title 'Ujenzi wa jamii isiyokuwa na mauaji: msingi wa elimu mpya ya siasa'.
Glenn Paige died peacefully in Honolulu on January 22, 2017 and buried on March 11 at the site of Mu Ryang Sa Buddhist Temple.
Our school grieved him for three days and on the last day the Headmaster paid him a vibrant tribute in a touching talk about his life and the impact of his work on the world.
He was our Father, our Source of Inspiration, and our Support and described as the Giant of Peace, Prophet of Nonkilling by some high personalities of the world. The man is dead but his work will continue to inspire people through the ages and other little Glenn Paige will emerge to carry the flag of peace and nonkilling ...
More than ever, the construction of the only school that bears his name must be completed so that it can be immortalized, as the Headmaster so aptly put it:” L’unique Ecole qui porte l’illustre nom doit être achevée pour sa mémoire “. French sentence that means "The only School bearing the illustrious name must be completed for his memory ".
Concerning the construction itself, is in phase of concreting and progress well.

In memory of our beloved Inspirer who has left us, let us continue to dream of a new world where men will live in harmony each other and together we will complete the construction of this School.
