Years of conflict in Syria have disrupted children’s access to education and left lasting effects on their emotional well-being. As part of this project, school kits were distributed primarily at the Yeryuzu Cocuklar School in Idlib, as well as in several other affected areas across Syria. These distributions aimed to ensure that children impacted by past conflict are not deprived of essential learning materials needed to continue their education.
Each school kit included age-appropriate educational supplies, enabling students to attend school prepared and learn alongside their peers. Providing these materials helped reduce barriers to education and supported children in maintaining a sense of routine, stability, and motivation to continue their studies in challenging conditions.
Access to essential school supplies plays an important role in keeping children connected to education and protecting them from risks such as child labor and exploitation. By supporting children’s continued learning, this project contributes to strengthening their confidence and supporting their long-term social and educational development. Continued educational support remains critical to preventing a lost generation and helping children build a more stable future.
