On Sunday November 21st, hundreds of children, youth and adults from Altos de Cazucá and Bogotá ran again our II version of the 5Kzucá, Tiempo de Juego´s Athletic race. Thanks to this race, the runners from Bogotá were able to get to know Cazuca´s hill, giving big steps through its principal alleys. This race is a yearly opportunity for people from the capital to get to live and understand that Cazucá does not only mean violence, poverty and resentment (as the media tends to show). Cazucá is also a place of dreams and hopes. It is home to thousands of children and youth that struggle daily to survive.
It is thanks to the support of Adidas, the local Sports and Recreation Institute and, especially, to you, Global Givers, that we have been able to continue running the 5kzucá for our second year, that is, that we continue running for breaking social, economic and cultural barriers.
See you next year!
