Program Overview
  1. Arrival and Registration
The event began at 3:00 PM with participants and guests arriving at the venue. Registration was facilitated by Sherifa from the organizing team, ensuring a smooth sign-in process for the 25 children and staff members from both the Arthur Wharton Foundation and SCEF.

  2. Welcome and Opening Remarks
The program was officially opened by Bismark Sedinam Wordui, SCEF’s lead social worker and project coordinator. Bismark highlighted the core objectives of the Score for Success project, emphasizing the importance of empowering street-connected children through football, instilling leadership, teamwork, and community engagement.

  3. Project Presentation
Mr. Kofi, the project’s head coach, provided an overview of the project's goals and structure. His presentation explained how football training would be intertwined with life skills training, focusing on leadership, conflict resolution, and emotional intelligence. He also elaborated on how the program could help reduce school dropout rates, enhance discipline, and boost self-confidence among the children.

  4. Demonstration and Football Activities
The children were introduced to football drills led by the coach, with assistance from the Arthur Wharton Foundation team. The demonstration allowed the children to experience football training while learning teamwork and key techniques such as dribbling and passing. This activity helped establish the program's dual focus on physical and personal development.

  5. Q&A Session
After the demonstration, Bismark facilitated a Q&A session where participants and attendees had the opportunity to ask about the project's vision, execution, and long-term objectives. The questions focused on the selection process for participants, the involvement of coaches, and the integration of life skills training into the program
