Dear Supporters, Namaste !

I am pleased to share with you that our program has to date directly benefited 425 women and over 1,500 family members. With input from local communities and villages, we are expanding our efforts to sort out many more families who urgently need our help. Our method is to select 25 women from each community with two leaders as our key contacts; if help is needed, they call us and our team will arrive with on the ground assistance to help grow the seeds of hope. Our mission for the group is for all to help each other, share knowledge, ideas, as well as their stories, and to grow in strength and self-reliance.

The women in these communities have been very excited about this project, especially since, due to the lockdown, for almost four months they couldn’t even get seeds in the local market. The Small World field staff and agriculture technicians are teaching them how to plant their seeds, how to transfer over 12 different vegetables, and even how to make valuable compost. Their enthusiasm and interest are very inspiring and every day we receive calls for support.

Our field staff visits the families every week to make sure they are farming properly, encouraging them, and bringing the family together as part of a beautiful program for so many who have lost jobs due and faced harsh challenges through the pandemic.  We are also broadcasting a five-minute radio program about the Seeds of Hope, and including community women sharing their stories in their own voice, and agricultural experts providing useful tips about farming.

Once again, thank you. We feel privileged that you selected our project to support out of so many wonderful causes. By adding your donation, you’ve become a part of our community of supporters and we’re thrilled to have you on the team.  Your generous donation helps to cover the cost of all 25 women seeds and agricultural technical support, so we have named this women group by your name and these women were so thankful to you for helping in this most hard time.

We are continue supporting this our very important program, hope you will help us and we are very excteid to share all your donation will be matching 100 % upto $1000 on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 starting at 9am ET.

Please consider telling your friends and family about our project—you can share this link https://www.thesmallworld.org/seeds-of-hope  or just bring us up in conversation. Sharing with your community why you chose to support our organization will help us increase the work we can do in our community.
