Project Report | Oct 23, 2025
8000+ Children Have Received Activity Packages

By Rici Team | Rici Team

We sincerely invite all kind-hearted people to check the project progress for September.

This month, the project work has been carried out in an orderly manner around key links such as teacher review, material distribution and signature management. Meanwhile, the team continuously optimizes the teacher empowerment system, dedicated to providing support and guarantee for teachers to conduct mental health courses well.

1.Teacher application review

As of September 22nd, the number of applicants for the project has exceeded 1,300. It has been initially confirmed that 187 teachers will be supported by the Tencent Charity Platform, covering over 8,700 students. To ensure the orderly progress of the review work, the project team has formulated a review schedule, allowing teachers to choose their participation time slots independently. The team will, in light of the information on the application form, focus on reviewing the reasons for the teacher's application and the course implementation plan, and once again clarify the project participation requirements to the teacher.

Let's take a look at why teachers want to apply to participate in the Rici THE FLOURISH MAGIC SCHOOL and apply for the Mental Literacy Activity Manual!

One reason is that I have applied for the course package many times and found that the mental literacy course design of Rici is excellent. The content is systematic and scientific, in line with students' cognitive laws, providing professional support for teaching.Second, activities were carried out in the early stage and all achieved very good results.Teaching in more interactive and practical forms can effectively enhance students' psychological adjustment and social skills. The third reason is that it is highly favored by students: the forms are interesting (such as games and cases), which fully mobilize students' enthusiasm for participation.Fourth, I am very fond of psychology. As a head teacher, I pay close attention to students' mental health. This course focuses on mental health and can help solve students' problems such as stress and emotions, and assist in preventing psychological distress.Overall, the educational significance of the curriculum implementation is profound. It can cultivate students' sound personality and is in line with the goals of quality-oriented education and all-round development.I am very eager to continue offering mental literacy courses to support students' development.

- Teacher Yu from Hunan

Last year, when I participated in the national training for psychological teachers' competence in Zhuzhou City, I got to know teachers from other schools who had participated in the Rici Public Welfare activities. They recommended your activity to me, so I joined this wechat group and official account. In the official account, I also read some of your learning materials. Then I felt that all of you were very kind-hearted and offered free and public welfare assistance to our rural teachers in conducting mental health classes. So this year, I tried to apply for it, hoping to bring a systematic course to the children this semester, and systematically attempt to enable them to have a more orderly development and targeted improvement within a systematic course.Purposeful and process-oriented classes. I also hope to have more mental health classes. Maybe it's like finding an organization. It's not that I'm fighting alone, but that I can follow a group to learn, consolidate and improve myself.Let my mental health classes get better and better, and also let my children feel the baptism of more professional knowledge.

2.Manual distribution

On September 12th, project members conducted an on-site visit to the warehouse of the logistics partner.By on-site verification of the inventory status, storage condition and distribution process of the manuals and teaching AIDS, preparations are made for the efficient distribution of the manuals. As of the feedback, the project team and the logistics partner have completed the distribution of handbooks and teaching AIDS to over 8,000 students.

3. Signature for receipt work

To ensure that the manual is distributed to each student, the project team has been promoting the teachers' signature for receipt since mid-September.After the teacher collects the package, they need to perform three operations on the management platform for the representative to complete the signature for receipt: fill out the signature form, upload photos of the student roster and the student collection manual.Up to now, 50% of the teachers have completed the signature for receipt.

4. Course teaching

The first batch of teachers who received the manual have already led the children into the wonderful "magic class"!Let's take a look at these wonderful interactive moments together!

Teaching school: Gaolou Primary School, Anliang Town, Jia County

Teaching time: September 22, 2025

Class: Grade 4

Teaching content: You and I are very different

Teaching process: The theme of this learning session is to embrace diversity, and the social and emotional ability cultivated is to respect diversity.

The Magic Zoo is about to welcome a group of mysterious ponies. But when the animal keeper saw them, he found that none of these ponies had any color!Every pony looks exactly the same. How can we tell which one is which?

..."

Looking at the blank pony I took out, the student raised his hand and said, "Teacher, teacher, let's color the pony with colored pens."Some students also said, "I still want to add some patterns."So, the same blank ponies became colorful ponies in the hands of different children. Then, I asked the students to talk about why they painted the little horse in such colors and shapes?"Teacher, I think when the setting sun shines on the little horse, it's golden and very beautiful, so I painted it golden yellow.""I like pink, teacher, so the little horse I painted is pink.""Teacher, the ponies I've seen are like this."Through the discussion of the pony, transition to the discussion of people: "If the pony represents ourselves, then do you think each of us should be the same?"During the discussion and sharing, students further understood the meaning of the term "uniqueness".Yes, it is precisely because each of us has different preferences for colors, shapes, etc., that the little horses in our pens become so colorful. To further enhance self-understanding, explore one's physical features, hobbies, personality traits, etc. Please ask the students to fill in the feature card according to their own actual situation. In the process of communicating with peers, students see the characteristics of others as well as the differences from themselves. Finally, let the students choose the small round stickers they like, each create their own exclusive image, and then stick them together on the same piece of white paper. This group photo of the class symbolizes a sense of belonging to the class, hoping that all the students will be close to and united with each other. In this process, by allowing students to see each person's uniqueness, they learn to accept and respect each other's differences, creating a friendly class atmosphere.

Teaching Reflection: In this class, through the method of painting, students were enabled to directly experience the colorful world where "everyone is different", explore their own characteristics, truly feel the differences between themselves and their classmates around them, and learn to accept and appreciate this difference.Help students recognize that everyone is different and guide them to perceive the richness and uniqueness of human beings.

Once again, thank you for your generous support. Your contributions enable us to sustain our charitable initiatives and empower more rural children to build resilience against adversity.
