Mental magic illuminates the rural children

By Rici Team | Rici Team

We sincerely invite all kind-hearted people to check the project progress.

Over the past few months, the "THE FLOURISH MAGIC SCHOOL" project has quietly taken root in rural schools. Through a series of engaging and interesting psychological courses, it helps children learn to recognize emotions, express themselves, and stimulate creativity. Here are the highlights of the recent classes presented by three teachers:

  • Teacher Li Feng delivered the lesson "Sadness Exploded and Exploded Again" at Tangshi Town Central School in Guiyang County. She guided the second-grade students in Water Village to calm their minds through abdominal breathing, and then used "Sadness Scenario Cards" to let them draw their own emotional stories. During the "Explode and Explode Again" activity, the children jointly created a "Happy Rabbit" poster to deal with sadness, and learned to regulate their emotions through breathing, sharing, and listening to music. At the end of the class, the children also promised to work together to make a "Treasure Box of Hundred Smart Tricks" to collect more methods for dealing with emotions.
  • Teacher Wang Min had a warm conversation with the students of Class 62 at Renhe Town's Second Primary School about "The Ranking of the Power of Nicknames". Through writing and learning, the students learned to resolve the harm caused by words with kindness and ingenuity. Through listening and sharing, they gradually understood how to treat each other's sensitivity and vulnerability gently. This class had no fixed answers, but it made everyone feel that: words can hurt, but they can also illuminate the heart.
  • Teacher Zhou Linsheng led the students of Class 4(7) at the Second Primary School in Anyang Town, Du'an County, Hechi City, Guangxi Province in a "Divergent Thinking Challenge" activity. From the "Big Watermelon and Small Watermelon" game to the creative association of needles, the children broke their fixed thinking patterns through hands-on and brainwork, and created round paintings full of imagination. This class not only stimulated the children's creativity but also opened up a new perspective for them to view everyday things.

These classrooms are not merely places for the transmission of knowledge, but also for the connection of emotions and the awakening of the soul. We believe that every breathing exercise, every emotional painting, every warm letter, and every creative association have planted seeds of resilience, kindness and innovation in the hearts of the children.

Once again, thank you for your generous support. Your contributions enable us to sustain our charitable initiatives and empower more rural children to build resilience against adversity.
