Challenge

The 2021-2022 National Mental Health Report reveals a crisis: 25.2% of rural primary and 20% of secondary students face depression risks, with 3.8% at high risk. Lacking professional resources and trained support, they suffer higher anxiety than urban peers. Left unaddressed, these barriers cause lifelong struggles. Our project bridges this gap through systematic Social-Emotional Learning, empowering these children to cultivate resilience, heal, and thrive.

Solution

Our project creates a safety net for 6-16-year-old rural children: 1) SEL Curriculum: At least 16 age-appropriate lessons per year to build emotional resilience. 2) Empowered Educators: Integrated training to help teachers manage students' psychological needs. 3) Immersive Environments: Activity packs and "psychology corners" for daily support. We combine curriculum, teacher training, and environmental support to create a sustainable ecosystem where children thrive.

Long-Term Impact

We have empowered 6,000,000+ children & 13,000+ teachers to build a sustainable support system. Rigorous evaluations prove significant gains in resilience and emotional regulation. By integrating teacher training, school environment support (activity packs & psychology corners), and adaptive, feedback-driven program iteration, we are building an enduring mental health network that continuously evolves to ensure every generation of rural children has the emotional foundation to succeed.
