The “Send 500 Muslim Children to School with Zakat” project, implemented by Elite Star Foundation, continues to focus on reducing financial barriers to education for disadvantaged Muslim children in Nigeria. The project aims to raise $10,000 to support school tuition, examination fees, uniforms, textbooks, and other essential learning materials, helping children from low-income families access and remain in school.
According to the project’s current GlobalGiving financial record, a total of $51 has been raised from 3 donations, representing approximately 0.51% of the $10,000 fundraising target. This leaves an outstanding balance of $9,949 to meet the project’s financial goal. The funds raised so far represent the initial financial support secured for the project, while the remaining target highlights the gap between available resources and the estimated funding required to reach the intended beneficiaries.
Elite Star Foundation remains committed to ensuring that resources mobilized through this initiative are directed towards educational support for children facing financial hardship. The project’s implementation will prioritize essential schooling expenses and transparent use of available funds as resources become accessible. Continued financial tracking will help the foundation measure progress against the project budget and assess its capacity to expand support towards the target of 500 children.
The project remains in its early fundraising stage, and its financial progress will be an important indicator of the support available for implementation and the number of children the foundation can assist.
