Summary

In Nigeria, nearly 10 million children are out of school, and girls are disproportionately affected due to poverty, early marriage, and household responsibilities. This project provides full-year tuition, school supplies, and mentorship for 3000 girls aged 7-15, enabling them to attend school without interruption. Immediate funding ensures these girls gain a full year of learning, reducing dropout risks and creating opportunities for academic progress, personal growth, and better prospects.

Challenge

Millions of girls in Nigeria are unable to attend school due to poverty, cultural pressures, and household responsibilities. Families often cannot afford tuition or learning materials, and early marriage further prevents girls from completing education. Schools may lack sufficient resources to accommodate students, leaving many girls without guidance or learning support. Without intervention, these girls risk being excluded from education for a full year, and limiting future opportunities.

Solution

This project provides tuition, school supplies, uniforms, and mentorship for 3000 girls for a full academic year.By covering financial barriers and supplying essential learning tools, girls can attend school regularly and participate fully in classes. Mentorship sessions reinforce the value of education and support problem-solving skills. Removing obstacles ensures that girls gain consistent access to learning, complete coursework,& develop the knowledge and confidence needed to succeed in life.

Long-Term Impact

A full year of schooling increases girls' chances of continuing education, earning future income, and delaying marriage. Educated girls are more likely to contribute to family and community development and support the education of younger siblings.Completing a year of schooling strengthens literacy, numeracy, and life skills, building a foundation for long-term personal growth. This project can serve as a model, encouraging families and communities to prioritize girls' education & retention rates.
