What an encouragement! We didn’t know that cows can contribute to education of the needy. Our buy a cow project is a unique project which was introduced to help in payment of the high school fees. It is unfortunate that our high schools are very expensive and the students cannot stay in school if they have not paid up their fees. This is so intimidating to the needy and it interferes with their personality at school.

It is very sad for a student at a tender age to know that his/her situation is making her stay out of school. The cow program has helped us manage to pay school fees for our students by selling the milk and the calves. The families taking care of the cows also benefit from the milk which helps with the health of the children. We have more than 100 students who have completed high school and are now in different universities and colleges. The first group of students are now doing their second in universities and those who joined tertiary colleges will be graduating this year. The fruits of Your sacrifices and commitments are being realized. We can’t imagine how much you have done in the lives of these children and our community, words cannot express.

The cow project is also changing the lives of the beneficiaries, they have some work to do, that is to take care of the cows. They are also contributing to the education of their children. We have given out 21 cows and we still have more than 100 families whom we are hoping to give the cows. We are encouraging you to keep on sharing the word, this program is helping with the empowerment of the families and at the same time helping with the high school fees for the children.

The more we share out the more we reach out to more orphans and poor children. Having done all these we will achieve the goal of changing the world and make it a better place. Together we can.

MIDTERM BREAK

High school student helping with the young ones

The students have just finished their midterm break and it was good to see the new high school students who shared their first experiences in boarding schools. The students are doing very well and it was good to see their performance in their first two exams.

They were very eager to visit the garden they worked on last semester and they were very impressed with what they did. They didnt stop, they helped with the gardening as we prepared for the planting. They were happy as they stayed in school throughout the one and half while others were sent home for school fees,they couldnt hide their joy.

We are grateful for what you are doing in the lives of the children, providing education and empowering their famiies. Most of the children are unable to complete and even join high school due to lack of fees. High school is the key to everything and once you drop out that is the end of anything good in your life. We highly appreciate your sacrifice and commitment in enabling the orphaned and needy children acquire high school education. You may not know the difference you are making, we can assure you that it is huge. You are not only changing the lives of the children but you are changing the entire village. It is not easy to make it in the rural villages, but you have helped us this far.

We humbly request that you share this great achievements with your friends and families, encourage them to come join you in this cause. The high school page is very dormant and we are hoping that we will be able to find more friends to join us in this cause. It is very important for the students to remain in school and not sent home frequently for school fees. Please help us by sharing, monthly giving will be highly appreciated and we encourage one time gift for those who cant do amonthly giving. Thank you so much for your commitment and for big heart for the orphaned and the poor in the rural areas of western Kenya. We love you
