HAPPY VALENTINE TO YOU!
On behalf of Tumaini family we wish you Happy Valentine! As you celebrate Valentine's Day we at Tumaini are celebrating the new life of having running water! You made it happen! We have started drilling on Monday February 9th and we found water! The machines were huge and it was exciting for both the children and the villagers.
The drilling was completed yesterday, February 13th, although we have not started using the water yet. The water has to be tested in the lab and then a test pumping has to be done to determine the type of pump to be used for pumping the water to the storage.
THIS IS JUST BECAUSE OF YOU! You have made a great impact in this community, an experience that has never been before and we are PROUD OF YOU!
We know that making a donation is a true sacrifice, yet without a commitment and a sacrifice lives can never change! We appreciate every donation as it has made a difference and you can see from the pictures that your donations are making our dream to have fresh water a reality! As I have shared, we are still yet to buy a pump. Without this pump, we will not actually have the water that is in the borehole waiting to be pumped.
We therefore request you to continue sharing with friends for the next one week so that we can be able to purchase a pump. A word of mouth, sharing on our social pages has actually enable us to raise the funds to do 75% of the work. We need to ask for your help again to complete the project.
