Greetings and warm wishes from Nepal,

The bikes donated by our valued donors have been gifted to high school girls in Nepal. The latest lot of Bikes Gifting Ceremony was held on 17th July 2023 in the Shiva Shakti Secondary School premises in Bateshwor Rural Municipality, Dhanusha, Nepal. A total of 45 bikes were gifted out of which 20 bikes donation was received from a single organization out of the GlobalGiving platform.
As simple as a bicycle gift from our valued donors, we support Nepali girls to continue their high school. It has been seen that keeping girls longer in school is one of the most effective ways to prevent child marriage while at the same time providing them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to create a more promising future for them. A bicycle is not only a means of commuting for long distances but it is a hope, encouragement, and inspiration. We hope your bicycle gift will encourage many girls in schools and equip them with the confidence and courage to say NO to child marriage as it has not been the case with many girls.
With this project update, we would like to receive and welcome suggestions and feedback from our donors, supporters, and well-wishers to make this project more effective and efficient for the schools and girls we are working with. Your suggestions and feedback are welcomed and they will guide us to our ultimate goal.
