This project continues to reflect the urgent and unmet needs of widowed mothers and children facing winter without adequate shelter, heating, or basic household items. While limited funding has restricted full implementation, the growing number of families seeking support highlights the severity of winter conditions and the fragile reality faced by those who have lost their breadwinners.
For these families, winter is not merely a season it is a daily struggle for warmth, safety, and dignity. Many mothers continue to face freezing nights in unsafe homes, worrying about their children’s health and well-being with few resources to rely on. Even modest assistance can mean the difference between illness and protection, despair and reassurance, during the coldest months of the year.
Despite the challenges, this project remains committed to its mission: to ensure that no child or widowed mother is left to endure winter alone. With the right support, families can be provided with warmth, safety, and the dignity they deserve offering them not only protection from the cold, but a renewed sense of hope and human solidarity during one of the hardest times of their lives.
