To our Donors, Colleagues, Famiies, Supporters and Friends:
We are happy to report that you can now look at our program and activiies through our new website. Here is the link: https://www.commitandact.org/.
In celebration of the 30th year of the Reunification of Germany, the German Ambassador, His Excellency Horst Gruner and the UN Women Country Representative, Dr. Mary Okumu, visited our Commit and Act Foundation Shelter for Abused Girls.
They donated 100 radios to the girls, instead of giving a celebratory party as His Excellency Ambassador Gruner stated that the radios are the windows of information for the recipients. He praised the work of Commit+Act and was very mpressed with the unique work being done with these abused girs. One of the abused girls shared her experience with the Ambassador and he was deeply moved and pledged that he will definitely support our work.
Dr. Mary Okumu, the UN Women Country Representative also expressed her thanks to the Team for the great job done in serving humanity.
Commit+Act is very pleased and happy with the recception of these two prominent guests and for the historical visit to the Commit+Act Foundation Shelter for Abused Girls.
In addition to the prestigious visit, we would like to inform everyone that we are hosting an ongoing fundraiser: a webinar series by professionals in the psychological and behavioral health fields. Here is the information for anyone interested:
