Chinseu CBO is proud to share the impact of our Shine a Light on Health project, empowering communities to combat TB and HIV/AIDS. We've provided critical support, raised awareness, and empowered individuals to take charge of their health.
Accomplishments
1. Medical Support: Provided medication and treatment support to 200 TB patients and 500 HIV/AIDS patients.
2. Awareness Campaigns: Conducted 20 community outreach events, reaching over 5,000 people.
3. Counseling Services: Offered psychosocial support to 300 individuals and families.
4. Economic Empowerment: Trained 50 people in vocational skills, enhancing livelihoods.
Impact
- Reduced Stigma: 80% decrease in self-reported stigma among beneficiaries.
- Improved Health Outcomes: 90% of TB patients successfully completed treatment.
