VAP was amongst the institutions and organizations around the world that were marking the International Anti- corruption day this December by organizing for the third edition of ‘Kick-Out corruption ‘tournament held at Kiambiu playing grounds. The tournament brought on board ten teams from a diverse professional that the players would wish to become when they grow up eg.Judgesfc, Politicians fc, Police fc, Senators, Doctors fc etc.The tournament was coupled with Kick-Out corruption activities conducted by VAP’s Anti-corruption crusaders (ACC) that focused on ethics and integrity as well as values of leadership. The teams led by the ACC discussed amongst other issues the elements that trigger corruption e.g greed, favorism, bribery, nepotism, tribalism etc.The Doctors fc emerged the winners of the tournament by trouncing police fc by one goal to nil. Winners were awarded with vouchers to purchase educational supplies and a ball. Runners up and third runners up were all awarded with two balls each.”Now that I have learnt about the effects of corruption, I want to be an anti-corruption advocate and enhance the economical gains of our county.
