The Reward system provides tools and trainings necessary for nonprofit organizations to utilize as they continue to build and scale up the capacity of their programs while receiving points for both effectiveness (commitment to learning) and Engagement (participation on the GlobalGiving platform). The listing has been accompanied by a seed grant from GlobalGiving which will go towards strengthening the capacity of the programs."Many thanks for your continous donation through GlobalGiving.Your donation has contributed largely on impact and effectiveness of our programs. Please rest assured that this honor also belongs to you." Football for Peace
VAP coaches, volunteers and staff gathered at Buru Buru grounds to mark the International Day of Peace which is globally celebrated on 21st September. The group played a football match under the banner ‘Am Playing for Peace’ and later on had a walk from the pitch to the streets carrying peace messages to the Kenyan population to quench the simmering tensions. The International Day of Peace ("Peace Day") is observed around the world each year on 21 September. Established in 1981 by unanimous United Nations resolution, Peace Day provides a globally shared date for all humanity to commit to Peace above all differences and to contribute to building a Culture of Peace.
